FAQs on Concord Free Press cont.

      Anywhere?
      Anywhere within reason.

      Is Scotland within reason?
Yes, it is. Scotland is very reasonable.

      Are you publishing more books?
We’re planning on doing two titles a year to start with—a spring and fall book. We focus on publishing original, unusual books by established writers of fiction and non-fiction.

      How many do you print?
Each book is a limited edition of about 3,000 copies—and when we run out, that’s it.

      Who decides what gets published?
Our Advisory Board includes writers Megan Abbott, Russell Banks, Gregory Maguire, Stephen McCauley, Joyce Carol Oates, Francine Prose, Sebastian Stuart, Jess Walter, and others. They all contribute book ideas and help steer writers they know and like toward our admittedly unusual publishing model.

What if a writer wants to have their book considered for Concord Free Press?
Just email us at hello@concordfreepress.com and tell us about it. Don’t send us a manuscript just yet.
